It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They slipped by the Trinity Shamrocks 90-89. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Warriors were the better team in the second half.

Jahovn Tyler had a dynamite game for Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue, putting up 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Tyler is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Adrean Walls was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.

When it comes to explaining why Trinity lost, don't look at Owen Schlager. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 18 on his way to 25 points along with six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Steele, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 16 points and six assists.
