It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but J.L. Mann ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Easley Green Wave 2-1. J.L. Mann haven't had any issues with Easley recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Smith Darby was the driving force of J.L. Mann's attack as he scored both of J.L. Mann's goals, bringing his season total up to 15 goals.

J.L. Mann's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Easley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.L. Mann will face off against Christ Church Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christ Church Episcopal will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something J.L. Mann surely won't give up without a fight. As for Easley, they will square off against Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
