Jamestown skates past Warhill with ease

Recap: Jamestown Eagles vs. Warhill Lions

The Jamestown Eagles put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Warhill 82-23 at home. Fans of Jamestown have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.

Jamestown found their leader in underclassman Maddie Leach, who scored 32 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Leach has scored at least 25% of Jamestown's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shadae Williams, who scored 18 points.

Despite the defeat, Warhill saw an underclassman step up: D'Shela Walker scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Walker's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Hannah Hennigan was another key contributor, scoring two points along with three steals.

Jamestown pushed their record up to 6-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 50.33 points. As for Warhill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jamestown has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome New Kent at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. New Kent is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Warhill, they will be playing at home against Poquoson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
