Basketball Recap: Marais des Cygnes Valley Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marais des Cygnes Valley can now relate to. They lost 51-27 to the Caldwell Bluejays on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 60 points in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Leading Caldwell to victory were Caleb Boone and Mak Blosser. Boone en route to 14 points and three steals, while Blosser posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. What's more, Boone posted four assists, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Mason, who to rack up 10 points and six rebounds.

Marais des Cygnes Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-3. As for Caldwell, their win bumped their record up to 3-18.

As of now, neither Marais des Cygnes Valley nor Caldwell have any future games scheduled.
