After both having extra time off, the North Branford Thunderbirds and the Derby Red Raiders will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Branford will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.

Vanessa Nguyen was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs.

Derby was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in six consecutive games.

North Branford's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Derby, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
