Basketball Recap: Park Place Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Park Place Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lamar Raiders, falling 54-34. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-27 last Monday.

Aryah Grace was her usual excellent self, putting up 23 points along with seven steals and six rebounds for Lamar. Grace has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Blake Hart, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Park Place Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.

Park Place Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lamar, they will challenge East Rankin Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. East Rankin Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lamar surely won't give up without a fight.
