Softball Recap: Elizabethton Gets the Win

Elizabethton lost to East Carter back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Fighting Cyclones sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Cyclones.

Elizabethton's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for East Carter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-4.

Elizabethton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against David Crockett on the 14th. As for East Carter, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Wayne on the 12th.
