Football Recap: Brown County Comes Up Short

The matchup between Brown County and Crawford County on Friday hardly resembled the 24-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles were dealt a 56-26 loss at the hands of the Wolfpack. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Brown County still got an impressive performance from Quentin Bell, who threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes.

Brown County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Crawford County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brown County will face off against Noblesville L at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crawford County, they will head out to challenge Perry Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wolfpack's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
