With a playoff win on the line, Jasper rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Vincennes Lincoln Alices. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
Jasper's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Vincennes Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.
Coming up, Jasper will take on Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2, the Tigers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Vincennes Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
