Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ashby last Tuesday, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy came back down to earth. The Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 45-44 to the Wheaton Warriors. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 59-57.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Wheaton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy has already played their next contest (against Wheaton/Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley/Herman-Norcross), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wheaton, they will challenge Ashby at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheaton is facing Ashby at the right time seeing as Ashby is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
