With a playoff win on the line, Phoenix rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They beat the St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 47-40. The win was familiar territory for the Spartans, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Phoenix's victory bumped their record up to 18-12. As for St. Joseph's - Plaucheville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-23.
