Baseball Recap: Woodmont Takes a Loss

Woodmont lost against Southside Christian back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Sabres, falling 11-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodmont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Southside Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-1-1.

Coming up, Woodmont will face off against Mauldin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southside Christian, they will take on Asheville Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.85 runs per game on average), something the Sabres will no doubt try to take advantage of.
