After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five matches, Leechburg finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Burrell Bucs, falling 9-1. The Blue Devils' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Leechburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Henry, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Henry has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Leechburg's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Burrell, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

As of now, neither Leechburg nor the Bucs have any future games scheduled.
