Basketball Game Preview: Millard West Wildcats vs. Pius X Thunderbolts

The Millard West Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Pius X Thunderbolts at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Millard West is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a 79-64 bruising from Lincoln Southwest.

Meanwhile, Pius X came up short against Norris last Friday and fell 73-66. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbolts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Titans are ranked second).

Millard West's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pius X, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
