Volleyball Recap: Dover Beats Wooster for Their Fifth Straight Win

Dover came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wooster Generals by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Crimson Tornadoes: when they faced off against the Generals back in August, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 17-25, 25-20.

Caroline Hanner paced Dover's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hanner got some help from Quincey Werntz and her 35 assists. Kelsey Kazelman controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Dover's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Wooster, their loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dover will challenge rival Mansfield Senior at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wooster is set to face off against their familiar foe Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
