Baseball Game Preview: Perry Ramblers vs. Bath Fighting Bees

Perry is a perfect 4-0 against Bath since June of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Ramblers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fighting Bees at 4:00 p.m. Perry has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 21.

Perry lost 16-1 to Glenn on Thursday.

Perry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Burns, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Burns has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Meanwhile, Bath fell victim to Alma and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 9-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Fighting Bees have suffered since April 24th.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Bath, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Everything went Perry's way against Bath in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Perry made off with a 10-1 victory. Will the Ramblers repeat their success, or do the Fighting Bees have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
