Softball Recap: Adams Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Adams duked it out with Wilson on Tuesday. The Adams Cougars came up short against the Wilson Wildcats, falling 19-1. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Adams saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Salmeron, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wilson, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Adams wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-1 loss against West Mesquite on the 7th. As for Wilson, they have also already played their next matchup, a 13-1 victory against North Mesquite on the 7th.
