Baseball Game Preview: Viewmont Vikings vs. Woods Cross Wildcats

For the second straight game, Viewmont will face off against Woods Cross. The Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Viewmont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Viewmont was able to grind out a solid win over Woods Cross, taking the game 9-4. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Cal Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Viewmont is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-9 otherwise.
