After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sheldon, Franklin was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Elk Grove Thundering Herd with a sharp 71-48 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Aiden Rollins was his usual excellent self, going 10 for 18 to rack up 27 points along with six boards and five steals. Jacob Juarros was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Elk Grove's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jason Raga, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points. Raga continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Danny Dennaoui, who posted five points and eight boards.

Franklin pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Elk Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats face off against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 72.7 points per game this season. As for Elk Grove, they are taking a road trip to take on Sheldon at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sheldon will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Elk Grove surely won't give up without a fight.
