Basketball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Windham RVT's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Windham RVT unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Stonington Bears. The game was a 31-31 toss-up at halftime, but the Mighty Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Several Mighty Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brady Marsh, who posted 25 points. Marsh's evening made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Colby Dunnack, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards.

Windham RVT's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2. As for Stonington, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5.

Windham RVT didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-52 win against Terryville on the 22nd. Stonington has also already played their next contest (against Griswold), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
