Montbello came out on top against Adams City on Tuesday thanks in part to Santiago Rodriguez's efforts. Rodriguez scored two runs while going 2-for-3, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Rodriguez and Montbello will take on Silver Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Silver Creek will enter the matchup having just beaten Thomas Jefferson, so Montbello will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
