Baseball Recap: D'Evelyn Jaguars vs. Conifer Lobos

D'Evelyn easily dispatched Wheat Ridge last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Jaguars fell just short of the Conifer Lobos by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Jaguars have suffered since March 11th.

Ryan Kim was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
