Centreville came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the James Madison Warhawks with a 59-53 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Warhawks are ranked 75th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centreville's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for James Madison, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
