Softball Game Preview: Springbrook Blue Devils vs. Whitman Vikings

The Springbrook Blue Devils will head out to square off against the Whitman Vikings at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Springbrook hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Springbrook fell victim to Richard Montgomery and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 22-0 to the Rockets.

Meanwhile, Whitman came up short against Sherwood on Tuesday, falling 18-2. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Whitman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Marcou, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Springbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Whitman, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
