Volleyball Recap: Aquinas Institute Comes Up Short

Aquinas Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Livonia Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Aquinas Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Livonia, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Aquinas Institute is taking a road trip to challenge Edison Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Livonia, they will face off against Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
