Having just played yesterday, the Mullins Auctioneers will jump right back in to play the Richland Northeast Cavaliers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mullins has seven straight victories, Richland Northeast has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Mullins saw some tournament action on Friday. They breezed by South Brunswick to the tune of 66-38. The Auctioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Richland Northeast came up short against Conway on Friday and fell 50-39. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Tigers are ranked 17th).
Mullins' win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Richland Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
