Volleyball Game Preview: Dillon Wildcats vs. Aynor Blue Jackets

Dillon hasn't had much luck against Aynor recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Blue Jackets at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Dillon took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Marlboro County as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Aynor made easy work of Georgetown on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Aynor walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-16.

Dillon better focus on containing Emmy Dorman and Mia Cole as the pair were huge in Aynor's win. Dorman had 12 assists and three digs, while Cole had eight digs and two assists. That's the most assists Dorman has posted over her last six contests.

Aynor's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Dillon, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Dillon suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Aynor in their previous matchup on September 11th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Cole, who had 11 digs and five aces. Now that the Wildcats know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
