Football Game Preview: Morgantown Mohigans vs. Martinsburg Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Morgantown hasn't had much luck against Martinsburg recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mohigans will take on the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Morgantown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 52-21 win over Jefferson. The victory was nothing new for the Mohigans as they're now sitting on six straight.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Martinsburg's strategy against University on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs blew the Hawks out of the water with a 44-13 final score. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 35-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hawks had little chance of recovering from.

Martinsburg's win came from a few key players Morgantown will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brian Dick, who rushed for 145 yards and one score while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 100 yards and three touchdowns. Kevin Myers also helped out as he racked up 128 rushing yards.

Martinsburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 468 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Martinsburg didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Devon Bell, Ty Ricketts, and Mason Walley picked up one apiece.

Morgantown's record is now 12-1. As for Martinsburg, their record now sits at 11-2.
