Softball Recap: Risco Takes a Loss

Risco entered their matchup against New Madrid County Central on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers came up short against the Eagles, falling 16-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since March 21st.

Risco's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for New Madrid County Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Risco will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Advance at 4:30 p.m. on May 4. As for New Madrid County Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-7 victory against Portageville on the 23rd.
