Softball Preview: Scott Eagles vs. Scott County Cardinals
The Scott Eagles will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Scott County Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Scott took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Cooper, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Scott let Ashlyn Riley and Elise Manhardt run wild. Riley scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Manhardt scored three runs while going 2-for-5.
