Basketball Recap: Jefferson Find Success

Jefferson's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by the Briar Woods Falcons 47-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-51 back in January.

Despite the loss, Briar Woods had strong showings from Devon Pettibone, who posted 11 points, and Josh Winklosky, who put up six points and five boards. Patrick Fraim was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Briar Woods, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Jefferson has already played their next contest (against Martinsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Briar Woods has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Stone Bridge.
