Lake View is a perfect 8-0 against Carvers Bay since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wild Gators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. Lake View's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Carvers Bay's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Lake View is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Latta just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-3.

Carvers Bay came out on top against River View on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Bears put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 11-1 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bears' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Kendall Moore was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, earning one run and two stolen bases.

In other batting news, Bryant Garman was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brantley Jones, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Carvers Bay's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Lake View, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Everything went Lake View's way against Carvers Bay in their previous matchup on April 1st, as Lake View made off with an 11-1 win. Do the Wild Gators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
