Softball Preview: Destrehan Wildcats vs. East Ascension Spartans
The Destrehan Wildcats will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the East Ascension Spartans at 4:30 p.m. Destrehan will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Slidell typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Destrehan proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Tigers.

Destrehan pushed their record up to 24-7 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs per game. As for East Ascension, their victory bumped their record up to 18-12.
