Basketball Game Preview: Castor Tigers vs. Natchitoches Central Chiefs

The Castor Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Natchitoches Central Chiefs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Castor is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Castor duked it out with Cedar Creek on Tuesday. Castor fell just short of Cedar Creek by a score of 44-42.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Natchitoches Central against Oak Hill on Tuesday as the squad secured a 77-35 victory. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Natchitoches Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Castor, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-13.
