DSST: Cedar proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 28) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 win over the Kennedy Commanders. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on four straight.

DSST: Cedar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amaya Paul, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rimaad Vidow, who earned 11 points.

Despite the loss, Kennedy still got an impressive performance from Mercedes Gerry, who scored 12 points and seven boards. Audrinna Aragon was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

DSST: Cedar pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points over those games. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.

DSST: Cedar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-21 victory against DSST: Conservatory Green on the 7th. As for Kennedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-16 win against Lincoln on the 7th.
