Westfall is 8-2 against Southeastern since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mustangs will host the Panthers at 5:15 p.m. Southeastern took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Westfall, who comes in off a win.

Westfall took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They skirted past Piketon 3-2. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Noah Stonerock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 13 Ks.

At the plate, Westfall saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ Pluta, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Southeastern lost 15-4 to Unioto on Wednesday.

Southeastern has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Westfall, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Westfall was able to grind out a solid win over Southeastern in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 12-7. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
