NFL Yet Academy extends home losing streak to three

The NFL Yet Academy Eagles suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 78-38 loss at the hands of Arizona Lutheran Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for NFL Yet Academy in their matchups with Arizona Lutheran Academy: they've now lost five in a row.

NFL Yet Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being EUDY LARA-CASTILLO, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of JULUIS RAMIREZ, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.

NFL Yet Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Arizona Lutheran Academy pulled down 16 offensive rebounds.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arizona Lutheran Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stephan Iron shell, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 2 assists. Another player making a difference was Luis Guerrero, who scored 14 points along with eight steals.

NFL Yet Academy dropped their record down to 5-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

NFL Yet Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome Maryvale Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Mohave Accelerated at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
