Basketball Game Preview: Palestine-Wheatley Patriots vs. England Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the England Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Thursday, Palestine-Wheatley lost to Lee on the road by a 72-55 margin. The Patriots have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, England had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They secured a 64-58 W over the Bears.

England has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Palestine-Wheatley, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Palestine-Wheatley lost to England on the road by a decisive 67-48 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Palestine-Wheatley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
