Baseball Recap: San Carlos Braves vs. Duncan Wildkats
San Carlos had lost six straight at home, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 0-14 to make it seven. They came up short against the Duncan Wildkats, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildkats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in March.
As for Duncan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Duncan's part, Ethan Hernandez made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched.
