Goshen is 9-1 against Concord since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Goshen RedHawks will venture away from home to square off against the Concord Minutemen at 7:45 p.m. Goshen hasn't scored more than 24 points for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Goshen is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Penn back in December of 2024 (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Goshen took a blow against Penn, falling 63-9. While losing is never fun, the RedHawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Kingsmen are ranked 31st).

Concord hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They claimed a resounding 50-16 win over West Noble.

Goshen better keep an eye on Hayden Casey. She was instrumental in Concord's win, going 6 of 13 on her way to 19 points along with eight boards and eight steals. Those eight steals gave Casey a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Emerick, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points and three steals.

Concord's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Goshen, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Goshen has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 22.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Concord struggles in that department as they've been averaging 22 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.

Goshen beat Concord 46-36 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Goshen since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
