Xavier won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Friday too. The Saints took their game with ease, bagging a 42-15 win over the Warriors. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Warriors are ranked 124th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Xavier's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points on average this season. As for Washington, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
