Sidney came into Wednesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Unatego Spartans by a score of 58-48 on Wednesday. The Team's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sidney's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Unatego, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Sidney will take on Susquehanna Valley in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sidney has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Unatego, they will venture away from home to square off against West Canada Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
