Adams City won against Skyview last Tuesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Adams City Eagles put the hurt on the Aurora Central Trojans with a sharp 16-1 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 13 runs or more this season.

Leyla Jaquez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). Jaquez was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three runs and a triple.
