Hammonton (N.J.) defeated
Bridgeton (N.J.) 24-6.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the second quarter, the Blue Devils led 14-6 at the half.
Bridgeton's lone touchdown came on a 16-yard pass from
David Mosley to
Markquise Bell in the first quarter.
The defeat comes as a step back for Bridgeton, who notched a 38-0 victory over Ocean City in its previous outing. The loss broke Bridgeton's three-game winning streak. With the win Hammonton extended its winning streak to three games.
