Baseball Recap: Center Roughriders vs. Hudson Hornets
Center extended their losing streak to eight on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 5-13 in the process. They fell 6-1 to the Hudson Hornets. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 17, 2021, but that streak is no more.
Center saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Wulf, who went 2-for-4 with one run. Jayden Lane also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Center and Hudson could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Roughriders will take on Rusk at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th with a big rank disadvantage (770 vs. 333). Meanwhile, Hudson (ranked 357th) will meet Bullard (ranked 87th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
