Baseball Recap: Brandon Bulldogs vs. Northwest Rankin Cougars

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brandon had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Northwest Rankin Cougars. The win was familiar territory for Brandon who now have five in a row.

Russell Robbins looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cameron Keyes, who went 3-for-3 with three runs, a triple, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Trimble, who went 2-for-2 with five RBI.
