Soccer Recap: Long Find Success

Long's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Highland Home Flying Squadron an 8-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Isabella Rhodehouse as she scored three goals for her team.

Long's victory bumped their record up to 6-9-4. As for Highland Home, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Long will face off against rival Providence Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Highland Home is set to take on their familiar foe Houston Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
