Riverside Prep won against Big Bear on Tuesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Silver Knights put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 17-2 win. The Silver Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Meeka Martinez was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (four). Another player making a difference was Makayla Bustos, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Riverside Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 13 consecutive games.

Riverside Prep is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Big Bear, they now have a losing record of 8-9-1.

Riverside Prep didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-4 win against Excelsior Charter on the 29th. As for Big Bear, they have also already played their next game, a 7-3 loss against University Prep on the 29th.
