East Duplin has gone a perfect 10-0 against Southwest Onslow recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Stallions at 6:00 p.m. East Duplin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.
Last Saturday, East Duplin earned a 7-2 win over Rosewood. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Kinsey Cave was incredible, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Karsyn Parker, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Southwest Onslow can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Lejeune a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Stallions, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Whitney Grissett made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grace Randolph, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. Skylar Phillips was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Southwest Onslow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
East Duplin's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Southwest Onslow, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.
Southwest Onslow's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: East Duplin hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321. It's a different story for Southwest Onslow, though, as they've only averaged .258. Will they be able to contain East Duplin's hitters?
Everything went East Duplin's way against Southwest Onslow when the teams last played back in March, as East Duplin made off with a 14-2 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
