Volleyball Game Preview: Bradford Tornadoes vs. Fort White Indians + How To Watch

The Bradford Tornadoes will head out on the road to take on the Fort White Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bradford will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Bradford took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Baldwin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tornadoes won by a set and slipped past the Indians 3-2. The game was the first time the Tornadoes have beaten the Indians on their court since September 24, 2020.

Bradford wouldn't go down easily and took Baldwin into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-27, 25-16, 15-11.

Kingslee Phillips went supernova, getting 17 digs and five aces. Those 17 digs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lakelyn Sheppard, who had ten digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Fort White came up short against Cedar Key on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 19-25, 25-13.

Bradford's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Fort White, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Everything went Bradford's way against Fort White when the teams last played back in September of 2021, as Bradford made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tornadoes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
